Outdoor Farmhouse Wedding | Gianna + Chris

We loved celebrating Gianna and Chris last weekend at The Farmhouse! They are the sweetest couple who deserved the very best celebration with all of their friends and family after postponing their original 2020 wedding date and opting for a smaller wedding ceremony last summer. We were lucky enough to photograph their original “I do’s,” so it felt extra special capturing even more memories for Mr. & Mrs. Nunn at The Farmhouse!

We’ve really gotten to know Gianna and Chris during their wedding journey, so it felt like being reunited with friends on their big day! We even recognized some familiar faces in the bridal party since their friends had helped organize a “drive by wedding parade” for the couple last summer. The beginning of the day was relaxed and fun as Gianna did a bridesmaids reveal with her girls and shared a First Look with Chris. Gianna told me she picked out her wedding dress in 2019, so she was excited for Chris to finally see her in it! We took bridal party photos featuring 18 of their closest friends (they’re so popular-haha!) before it was time to get ready for the ceremony.

The ceremony took place on the outside lawn and featured a wooden arbor decorated with flowers. It was a gorgeous sunny day out at The Farmhouse which was perfect for an outdoor ceremony! The courtyard was strung with lights, and there was a light breeze blowing as Gianna made her way down the aisle with her dad. During the ceremony, the officiant mentioned that the day was about celebrating everything God has been doing in Gianna and Chris’ lives throughout their relationship and especially in the past 10 months of marriage. I thought that was such a perfect reminder of the beauty of marriage!

TEXAS WEDDING RECEPTION

Shortly afterwards, Gianna and Chris made their Grand Entrance into the reception where they shared their first dance. Chinatown Band played live music as Chris twirled Gianna all around the dance floor! After a delicious meal, we snuck the newlyweds outside for some sunset photos all around the property. The Farmhouse is so peaceful and pretty right before sunset!

Before opening the dance floor, the Maid of Honor, Best Man, and Father of the Bride toasted the newlyweds and had everyone laughing at their funny stories about the couple! Then it was time to really get the party started! The dance floor was filled all night, and Gianna and Chris even got to belt out some high notes to Don’t Stop Believin’ with the band. So fun! Later in the evening, Chris surprised everyone by playing guitar and singing! It was easy to see how much fun everyone was having all night leading up to the grand finale- a sparkler exit!

Mr. and Mrs. Nunn, we are so honored to have been a part of your wedding memories! We hope this fun celebration was the icing on the cake to an already sweet marriage!!
