Boxwood Manor Wedding | Jenna + Max

BOXWOOD MANOR WEDDING

Jenna and Max were married at Boxwood Manor, a brand new Houston wedding venue! After several weeks of rain in Houston, it was so exciting to have a sun-filled day for this gorgeous wedding celebration! It’s been an honor getting to know Jenna and Max during their wedding journey, and we loved how they incorporated some of their favorite things into their wedding day!

The day started with Jenna and her bridesmaids getting ready in the bridal cottage with Harry Potter playing in the background (one of the couple’s favorites!). It was such a fun and relaxing morning as the girls got their hair and makeup done in their matching pajamas. Then, it was time for Jenna to put on her perfect ballgown! I think my jaw dropped when I saw Jenna in her dress for the first time at her bridal session a few weeks prior. She looked like a real life princess! Needless to say, her bridesmaids had a similar reaction when they saw Jenna’s bridal look for the first time that day!

Shortly afterwards, Jenna and Max shared a private moment in the chapel while they read their vows aloud. Their joy was palpable, and there may or may not have been a few tears involved! To make the moment even more memorable, their wedding party prayed over them before the ceremony. It was such a special moment to witness!

HOUSTON WEDDING CELEBRATION

When it was time for the ceremony, a few of the bridal party members also performed worship music for the couple and all of their wedding guests. It was moving to hear everyone singing together in the chapel and reflecting on the true meaning of marriage! The ceremony was filled with joy, and Jenna and Max had the biggest smiles on their faces when they were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Owen!!

After the ceremony, guests sipped on specialty cocktails while we took portraits of the newlyweds around the property. Then, it was time to get the party started inside Boxwood Manor’s stunning reception space! The reception was filled with emerald green and pink details, ranging from the centerpieces to the cake display that featured a rotating, double-sided cake. The newlyweds made their Grand Entrance into the reception and wowed everyone with a high-energy, choreographed dance! The Royal Dukes Band played live music during dinner and the special dances. Guests were enjoying themselves on the dance floor all night, and then they were led outside by the band for the sparkler Grand Exit. Talk about a fun way to end the night!

Mr. and Mrs. Owen, it was so wonderful being a part of your wedding day and documenting all of the sweetest memories for y’all! We hope married life is filled with all of the love and happiness in the world!
