Carriage House Wedding | Lauren + Will

WEDDING AT THE CARRIAGE HOUSE

Lauren and Will were married at The Carriage House in Conroe, Texas. Their garden wedding came to life with the help of the Wed and Prosper coordination team and an abundance of beautiful flowers and greenery by Monica’s Touch of Glitz Flowers. There were so many special details spread out throughout the day including the cutest seating arrangement display (scroll to see it!), a custom backdrop that read “The Carpenters”, and greenery in the chapel that was draped all the way up the windows. It was a dream wedding day, and we loved being able to capture every moment for Lauren and Will to relive!

When the bridal party has a total of 23 members in it, you know it’s going to be a fun day! The day started off with Lauren and her bridesmaids hanging out in matching pajamas and sipping on mimosas. Once Lauren slipped into her gorgeous gown, we did a bridesmaids reveal with her 12 bridesmaids. Needless to say, their reactions to seeing Lauren in her dress for the first time were priceless! Before we started portraits, Lauren and Will shared a private moment together where they silently read each other’s handwritten vows. It was such a sweet moment as they laughed and held back tears from opposite sides of a door in the chapel.

CONROE WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION

The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. The Carriage House’s floor to ceiling windows and wooden cross called for the perfect backdrop as Lauren and Will exchanged rings and were announced as the new Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter! We really lucked out with the weather on Saturday because the forecast had been predicting 80% chance of rain. The rain held out all day, and we only saw one rain cloud quickly pass over the venue after the ceremony. After some fun bride and groom portraits around the venue, it was time to get the party started!

Not only was the reception space decorated to perfection, but Lauren and Will truly took the time to make all of their guests feel welcomed. They greeted every one of their guests before dinner, and it made me happy to see how much they valued each person in attendance. And trust me when I say Lauren and Will know how to host an awesome party! The dancefloor was packed all night, and DJ Dave kept everyone dancing to great music until the reception ended. By the end of the night, all of the guests were asking DJ Dave for an encore- nobody wanted the party to end!
