Winter Farmhouse Wedding | Jennifer + Shane

Jennifer and Shane celebrated their marriage with friends and family last weekend at The Farmhouse! These sweet newlyweds recently tied the knot in an intimate ceremony, so it was extra special seeing them officially gather with everyone to commemorate the occasion! It’s been a joy being a part of Jennifer and Shane’s wedding journey since 2019 when I first photographed their engagement session. Flash forward to 2022, and it felt like a happy reunion when I walked into the bridal suite and saw Jennifer on her wedding day!

Jennifer and Shane’s wedding day featured the most lovely blush color palette filled with classic white florals. The bridesmaids wore floral print dresses which I absolutely loved! Jennifer looked stunning in her custom wedding gown that sported a large bow on the back. It was so sweet watching Jennifer’s mom and Maid of Honor help her into her dress before she shared a First Look with her dad. He had the biggest smile on his face when he saw Jennifer for the first time that day. She even surprised him with a special handkerchief!

Shortly afterwards, we headed outside with the girls for some fun bridesmaids photos! The winter weather was perfect for photos, and the sun was shining! Meanwhile, Shane was downstairs putting on his uniform in the groom’s suite. He opened a special gift from Jennifer before heading to the courtyard to take portraits with the groomsmen. Before we knew it, it was time to get lined up for the ceremony!

FARMHOUSE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION

The ceremony took place in the beautiful on-site chapel at The Farmhouse. Jennifer and Shane were both overcome with emotion as they saw each other for the first time down the aisle. It was so sweet witnessing their love for each other throughout the ceremony. Their handwritten vows to each other had guests both tearing up and laughing! They also had several friends play important roles in the ceremony- from officiating the service to singing a breathtaking worship song to conclude the ceremony. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds were announced as Lt. and Mrs. Blanchard!

After the ceremony, we had the opportunity to take bride and groom photos all around the property. Shane even did a quick change so he could incorporate his wedding suit into some of the wedding photos. When the sun went down, it was time to get the party started inside the reception space! Jennifer and Shane made their Grand Entrance and headed over to the cake table where they cut the cake with a sword! Then, they shared their First Dance in front of all of their friends and family.

It was such a fun evening filled with a delicious dinner, toasts, and of course, an energetic dance floor! Guests enjoyed specialty drinks at the bar and took home a set of custom playing cards. After a night filled with dancing, guests waved sparklers outside as part of the Grand Exit! Lt. and Mrs. Blanchard, we are so happy for y’all and loved being a part of your wedding memories! We hope this next chapter as newlyweds is the best one yet!
