Waco Micro Wedding | Julianne + Cole

MICRO WEDDING IN WACO, TEXAS

It’s been so much fun being a part of Julianne and Cole’s wedding journey! I feel like it was just yesterday we were meeting up in Waco to take their engagement photos at Cameron Park. They drove me around to all of the best spots, and then we would jump out and find the best lighting. (AKA a photographer’s dream!)

Flash forward several months, and they found themselves needing to shift their original wedding plans. I was so honored when they asked us to be a part of their new plans! Julianne and Cole didn’t want to let their original wedding date of June 20th pass by without becoming husband and wife, so they planned an intimate wedding celebration with their closest family and friends. It was such a beautiful day filled with happy tears and the sweetest emotions!

There were so many special moments sprinkled throughout the day, and the tears were already flowing at the beginning of the day when Julianne’s dad (who was also marrying the couple) snuck into the bridal suite to see her. He was followed by Julianne’s grandma and her best friends, and everyone was in awe at how incredibly stunning Julianne looked in her custom wedding gown!

TEXAS WEDDING RECEPTION

Shortly after, Cole was trying to hold back tears as he saw his gorgeous bride walking down the aisle at First Methodist Waco. Her dad even snuck some Lord of the Rings references into the ceremony which had me cracking up! After the ceremony, we went to Cameron Park for bride + groom photos while guests headed to the McCulloch House for the reception. (Fun fact: it’s actually a historic museum!)

Then, Julianne and Cole shared the sweetest First Dance outside on the porch, relaxed on the front steps drinking Julianne’s favorite childhood drink from Kentucky, and ran through guests blowing bubbles and cheering! It was the most perfect day, and we can’t wait to be together again this fall for a big celebration at Blue Hills Ranch!!
