SUMMER PEACH CREEK RANCH WEDDING
Shelby and Taylor are officially Mr. and Mrs. Minyard!! I loved photographing their engagement session at Peach Creek Ranch last year, and it was so much fun being back in the same location for their wedding day! Shelby and Taylor met in high school, and they both attended Texas A&M University (whoop!). Shelby is also an event manager for the 12th Man Foundation, so it’s no surprise they chose to tie the knot in College Station and incorporate their love for A&M in subtle ways throughout the wedding. Taylor’s groom cake was a replica of Kyle Field, and it was AMAZING! They also had an incredible invitation suite that featured some of their favorite things, including the stadium and their two pups!
At the beginning of the day, the bridesmaids relaxed in the bridal suite as they got their hair and makeup done by the talented team at Blushd Beauty. Once Shelby slipped into her stunning bridal gown, she shared a super sweet First Look with her dad outside of the main barn. Happy tears were shed by them both, and I was trying not to tear up behind my camera, too!
COLLEGE STATION WEDDING RECEPTION
After some fun bridal party portraits around the venue, it was time for the outdoor ceremony by the lake. To help beat the heat, Shelby and Taylor opted to use Peach Creek’s “sun-brellas” to shade their guests, and they handed out fans so guests could stay cool. We lucked out with a beautiful summer day, and the sun was shining bright at the ceremony as Shelby and Taylor said some teary-eyed vows and “I do!”
Cocktail hour took place under the outdoor patio and featured a surprise for the guests- beer burros!! Shelby and Taylor love animals (they even mentioned that in their vows!), so I love that they had the donkeys as part of their celebration. To top it off, two of their dogs joined the couple for bride + groom photos as well! We ventured around the property taking photos around sunset, and then the newlyweds entered the reception where they danced the night away with family and friends!
Shelby and Taylor, it was such an honor being a part of your wedding journey, and we hope your future is filled with love, happiness, more pets, and plenty of Aggie football games! Gig Em!
