HOUSTON WEDDING

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Hank! Alayna and Aaron’s wedding celebration took place at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church and The Gallery in Houston. It was an incredible day filled with the dreamiest fall florals, a meaningful ceremony, and one of the most epic dance parties ever!

The Gallery is an elegant, industrial chic venue with brick accents and hanging lights. It perfectly paired with Alayna’s fall color palette, terracotta bridesmaids dresses, and dreamy flowers. To start the day, Alayna and her girls celebrated with mimosas before Alayna put on her perfect wedding gown. She looked absolutely beautiful with her bridal updo and long veil! After she got dressed, she shared special First Looks with her dad and brother in the courtyard before revealing her look to the bridesmaids. Everyone was truly in awe of the beautiful bride! Alayna and Aaron decided to meet each other at the altar, and the excitement was palpable as they read sweet letters from each other before heading to the church!

The church also has stunning architecture with its high ceilings and warm decor. Alayna looked like a vision waking down the aisle with her dad, and Aaron was holding back tears when he saw his beautiful bride! The ceremony was incredibly meaningful as it focused on the sacrament of marriage and was filled with prayer and worship. Once Alayna and Aaron said “I do”, they threw their hands up in celebration and were all smiles as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife!

After the ceremony, we took family and bride + groom photos around the church utilizing the amazing arches outside. The newlyweds even had a very special guest join them for photos…their pup, Crosby! Too cute! Shortly after, we returned to The Gallery for wedding party photos around the venue. The outdoor staircase adorned with greenery was the perfect photo backdrop! Alayna and Aaron have such a fun group of friends (we know many of them from high school!), and it was so much fun capturing their energy! It was a preview of what was yet to come on the dance floor later that night- haha!

THE GALLERY WEDDING RECEPTION

Cocktail hour took place outside on the balcony and inside by the ornate bar upstairs. We really lucked out with the perfect fall weather! Guests enjoyed passed appetizers and a signature drink called the “Regal Beagle.” Alayna and Aaron’s grand entrance got the party started with indoor sparklers and pump up music! After a welcome by the Father of the Bride, the newlyweds snuck back outside for some dreamy sunset photos on the balcony. It was a photographer’s dream!

Later that night, Alayna and Aaron wowed everyone with a choreographed first dance that had a fun surprising ending with sparklers! As the evening continued, guests enjoyed cake, donuts, and even a s’mores bar. The dance floor was jam packed all night, and it was one of the most fun crowds we have ever seen! At one point, the bride and groom were both being lifted up by their friends!

Mr. and Mrs. Hank, it was such an honor being a part of your wedding and capturing all of the joy throughout the day as well as the perfect details and memorable reception. We wish you all of the love and happiness (and Crosby kisses!) in the world as you continue your journey as husband and wife!
