THE SPRINGS WEDDING VENUE

Autumn and Kyle are officially Mr. and Mrs. Droughton! Their joyful wedding celebration was the perfect way to kick off our fall wedding season! Their wedding took place at The Springs in Angleton which is a beautiful venue with stunning architecture nestled on a lovely outdoor property filled with greenery and trees. The classic venue perfectly paired with Autumn and Kyle’s neutral and champagne color palette that featured pops of warm, fall colored florals. (Like Autumn says, she couldn’t resist a fall wedding given her name!)

To start the day, Autumn and her girls hung out in matching pajamas downstairs while Kyle and his guys got ready upstairs. Once Autumn put on her perfect gown, she headed to the patio to share a First Look with her dad. His reaction was so sweet as he saw her in her dress for the first time! Then, Autumn’s bridesmaids came out to see her as well, and they were all in awe of the beautiful bride in her pearl studded veil! Autumn and Kyle also exchanged special journals they had written in, and I absolutely love the idea of those special keepsakes! Soon after, everyone headed to the church to witness Autumn and Kyle say “I do!”

CATHOLIC CHURCH CEREMONY

One thing I especially loved about Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church was that the interior colors matched Autumn and Kyle’s wedding colors! The design of the church was intimate and inviting, and you could feel the excitement and anticipation as the church filled with Autumn and Kyle’s friends and family. Autumn and Kyle were both holding back happy tears as Autumn walked down the aisle. (Pass the tissues please!) The ceremony was meaningful and special as it focused on the true sacrament of marriage. Autumn and Kyle participated in prayer and worship throughout the ceremony and even shared some sweet stolen glances with each other. It was easy to see they were just as excited about their marriage as their wedding celebration taking place that evening!

ANGLETON WEDDING RECEPTION

After the ceremony, everyone headed back to The Springs for outdoor wedding party portraits and cocktail hour. Autumn and Kyle had such a wonderful wedding party, and we loved capturing their fun energy! Likewise, Autumn and Kyle are the kind of couple who truly enjoy each other’s company and make each laugh constantly. It was a joy documenting their love on camera! When it was time to get the party started, Autumn and Kyle made their grand entrance down the main staircase. The reception space looked stunning with colorful fall flowers on the tables and greenery draped down the stairs. The room flickered with candlelight and the glow of the chandelier as Autumn and Kyle shared their first dance!

As the evening went on, guests laughed along with Autumn and Kyle during the “shoe game” and enjoyed listening to toasts by the couple’s closest friends and family members. After the special parent dances, Kyle also surprised the Mother of the Bride with a dance of her own- so sweet! Once the dancefloor opened, glow sticks were passed out and the floor remained packed all night long. And of course, it wouldn’t be an Aggie wedding without the Aggie War Hymn led by Kyle!

As the evening came to a close, Mr. and Mrs. Droughton shared a private last dance. The romantic photos we captured from the balcony are some of my favorites from the night! Autumn and Kyle ended the night with a bang as they ran through a sea of streamers to their getaway car. Mr. and Mrs. Droughton, it was such an honor being a part of your wedding celebration! We wish you nothing but love and happiness (and movie quotes!) as you start this new chapter together!
