State Park Engagement Session | Hannah + Parker

state park engagement session

After a long winter season with little sunshine, Hannah and Parker’s session restored my faith in Mother Nature!! We had an absolutely gorgeous, sunny day for their engagement session. Hannah and Parker had me cracking up from the moment they arrived at the park. They brought what I like to call a “closet in the car,” and we worked together to pair the perfect outfits. I love the way everything turned out! I am also OBSESSED with Hannah’s floral maxi dress. (Seriously- where I can find one of those!?)

One of my favorite parts of shooting at Brazos Bend State Park is getting to explore all around the park. With a map in hand, we drove down some winding roads the the middle of the park. We had the ENTIRE park to ourselves since it was in the middle of the week. That meant we could take photos anywhere we wanted! At the end of their session, we headed back to the front of the park where we found the perfect field with tall grass. As the sun went down, Hannah and Parker retold their proposal story, and it was so much fun to hear both sides of the story. Hannah claims she was taken by surprise, hence why her hair was in “Princess Leia buns” that day. Parker said Hannah had him “re-propose” because she was so shocked, she hardly heard him the first time!

Hannah and Parker’s wedding is coming up next month, and from what Hannah has told me, it’s going to be incredible! I can’t wait to capture their special day in just a few short weeks!
