Robert Carr Chapel and BRIK | Nikki + Mick

ROBERT CARR CHAPEL CEREMONY

Nikki and Mick are officially Mr. and Mrs. Dell’Orco! Their wedding took place in Fort Worth, TX, and it was incredible in every way! The day started at BRIK Venue, and the girls were getting their makeup done in matching pajamas while the guys were sipping whiskey and hanging out. BRIK is a neat industrial space located near Downtown Fort Worth, and it has a lot of gorgeous unique features, like the ivy wall on the side of the building and even rooftop access for portraits!

Once everyone was dressed and gifts had been exchanged, we headed over to the ceremony site where Nikki and Mick would be moments away from seeing each other at the altar! The ceremony took place at Robert Carr Chapel which is located on TCU’s campus.

Nikki and Mick’s ceremony was very family-oriented with their grandma officiating the ceremony and their uncle sharing a virtual homily even though he couldn’t be in attendance. It was the sweetest ceremony, and I know Nikki and Mick had been eagerly waiting to say “I do” especially after their original May wedding was postponed! I loved the smiles on their faces as they walked back down the aisle hand in hand as the new Mr. and Mrs. Dell’Orco!

BRIK WEDDING RECEPTION

After taking bridal party portraits outside of the chapel (everyone was such troopers in the heat!), we all headed over to BRIK for the reception.

Before Nikki and Mick entered the reception, they had a special surprise for both of their dads. Nikki and Mick met when they were working for the Houston Astros, and since then, they’ve acquired some very special rings- like 2017 World Series rings! Fast forward to 2019, and the Astros won the American League Championship Series. Nikki and Mick secretly ordered their championship rings in sizes that would fit their dads! At the wedding, Nikki and Mick completely surprised their dads with the rings, and it was such a precious moment! (Some happy tears may have been shed as the dads admired their new bling!)

The night was filled with good food, moving toasts, and of course, lots of dancing (especially by the adorable ring bearer!). We even got to sneak away from the reception for a few minutes to take bride + groom sunset photos on the roof. Talk about a photographer’s dream! To end the night, Nikki and Mick shared a private last dance filled with candlelight.

Nikki and Mick, it has been such a joy being a part of your wedding journey and documenting all of the sweetest wedding day moments for you two! We hope your future is filled with love, happiness, and many more beautiful hikes in your new city!
