Liendo Plantation Wedding | Catherine + Andrew

french-inspired wedding at liendo plantation

Catherine and Andrew’s wedding was an absolute dream! About a month ago, I was able to do a venue tour at Liendo Plantation with the two of them. The plantation is filled with history. It’s a Civil War site that is still used for modern-day reenactments. (If you’re a history buff, General Custer was camped at Liendo for a couple months after the Civil War.) The historic vibe of the plantation perfectly complemented Catherine and Andrew’s classic, French-inspired wedding. One of the first wedding details I saw when I arrived was the gorgeous invitation suite with a custom wedding logo intertwining Catherine and Andrew’s last initials. The logo was carried throughout their wedding on Andrew’s tie (how cool is that?!) and even the cake topper!

Going along with the French-inspired theme, the couple also had a crepe station. (Alex and I both tried the chicken and spinach crepes, and we can attest to how delicious they were!) The bridesmaids wore lavender, and there were dried lavender accents on the welcome table. I am still amazed at all of the thoughtfulness behind each and every detail at their wedding!

spring has sprung

Today is officially the first day of spring, but we were blessed with sunny and 75 weather two days ago at the wedding! It was so refreshing to finally see some SUNSHINE, and the sunset on Catherine and Andrew’s wedding day called for the most amazing photos after the ceremony! The ceremony itself was beautiful, and I loved hearing Catherine and Andrew read their vows to each other. Andrew even closed his vows with a line of French that I’m sure he had to practice to nail the pronunciation! (:

We had the best time photographing Catherine and Andrew’s wedding day, and of course, head bobbing along to the 90’s hour at the reception. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Knop! We are so glad we could be a part of your day! (And did I mention Catherine also loves Kate Spade?! It was a match made in heaven- haha!)

Catherine’s invitation suite is perfection!!
The cutest Eiffel Tower ring box! Catherine, you are so gorgeous!! Love how Catherine and Andrew’s wedding logo was in so many unexpected places! “Give him your best marriage advice…” A sweet moment together right before the wedding! I call this a “blind first look.” Love this shot by my second shooter and hubby, Alex!!  Another great shot by Alex- such a sweet moment! Packets of “herbs de provence” for the guests! How fun is this second shooter angle! It’s the view that the guests had from the crowd!

Vendor credits coming soon!
