Big Sky Barn Wedding | Kirby + Travis

BIG SKY BARN WEDDING

Kirby and Travis officially became Mr. and Mrs. Franklin last weekend! Their fall wedding took place at Big Sky Barn in Montgomery, TX. It was a beautiful day filled with sunshine, navy and pink decor, and one incredibly joyful couple! I remember taking Kirby and Travis’ engagement photos last winter, and I loved how much they made each other laugh. I knew their wedding day was going to be a reflection of that same joy!

On the morning of their wedding, we captured Kirby getting her hair and makeup done by Hair by Alyx. Her bridesmaids were wearing matching pajamas and drinking mimosas until it was time to get dressed. The whole morning had such a happy vibe! Kirby’s mom and grandma helped her put her dress on, and then they made a very special Facetime call to Kirby’s grandpa. It was the sweetest moment as Kirby’s grandpa got to see her in her wedding dress! Shortly after, Kirby shared a First Look with her dad, and she did a dress reveal with her bridesmaids. Needless to say, she looked absolutely stunning in her gown, and we had so much fun taking bridal portraits of her before the ceremony!

FALL WEDDING RECEPTION

Kirby and Travis decided to exchange handwritten letters, and it was so sweet watching them open the letters separately. Then, it was only a matter of time until they’d be seeing each other at the altar! The indoor ceremony took place in the chapel at Big Sky Barn. Kirby’s dad walked her down the aisle to her groom, and then all of the guests joined together in worship. (Kirby’s grandpa was even watching the ceremony via Facetime!) The newlyweds had the biggest smiles on their faces as they were announced as husband and wife!

We took sunset photos around the property before the new Mr. and Mrs. Franklin were announced into the reception. The reception sported tall floral centerpieces, a custom neon sign, and marquee letters that read ‘LOVE’. The Royal Dukes Band entertained guests with live music all night as guests jumped around with glowsticks and light-up tambourines! At the end of the night, the guests even persuaded the band into an encore- haha!

Mr. and Mrs. Franklin, it was such an honor being a part of your wedding day, and we wish you all of the love and happiness in the world! 🙂
