Taylor and Peter got married at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Downtown Houston, and it was a beautiful and timeless wedding! The church’s gorgeous architecture made the perfect backdrop for the bridal party portraits and Taylor and Peter’s first look. I loved seeing the excitement on Taylor’s face as she walked up behind Peter and tapped him on the shoulder. It was the sweetest moment when they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day! It was only a short hour later until they officially became Mr. and Mrs. O’Brien up at the altar surrounded by all of their friends and family!

Their reception took place at the Houston Rental Studio which is an amazing space! It’s a warehouse that was converted into a photo studio and event space, and it has original brick from the 1900’s. Guests entered the reception through the all-white studio space that was lined with cocktail tables and beautiful florals by College Park Flowers. The reception tables had blush floral centerpieces, long garlands, and custom menus.Needless to say, every detail was perfectly planned out! (And I can also attest that they had absolutely incredible catering by the Heirloom Experience, too!) The newlyweds shared a sweetheart table in the center of the room where they listened to family and friends share a mix of sentimental and lighthearted toasts. Taylor’s matrons of honor even recited a surprise poem!

Taylor’s dad mentioned in his toast that guests from all over the country were in attendance. There was even a family who came all the way from Australia! I think that goes to show how much love was surrounding Taylor and Peter on their wedding day. The whole day was filled with genuine excitement from beginning to end. Guests filled the dance floor all night until it was time to bid farewell to the newlyweds with a lavender toss.
