WINTER FARMHOUSE WEDDING
Adair and Kenny were married at The Farmhouse last weekend, and it was our first wedding of 2020! Their wedding day was so much fun and filled with personality! We always encourage our couples to make their weddings unique to them, and Adair and Kenny did just that from beginning to end. At the beginning of the day, Adair and Kenny decided to walk through the venue together and look at all of the fun details from the reception decor to the cake table. It was so sweet watching them walk around in sweatpants and take it all in. (They even practiced their choreographed first dance which made me SO excited for the reception!) They opted not to see each other again until the ceremony, so Adair went to the chapel to change into her dress and Kenny went to hang out with the guys.
Shortly after, Adair’s mom helped her into her stunning wedding gown with full-length lace sleeves. Then, Kiss and Makeup helped Adair put on the most stunning floral crown! Once she was dressed, Adair shared a First Look with her dad and then did a big reveal with her bridesmaids. Her bridesmaids squealed with joy when they saw Adair all dolled up, and they looked stunning themselves in velvet purple dresses.
The ceremony took place in the chapel, and greenery and large lanterns lined the aisle. The ceremony was beautiful, and it ended with a special surprise for the guests. When Adair and Kenny walked down the aisle as husband and wife, the Robert Brown Orchestra played “All You Need is Love.” Then, hidden singers who had been sitting in the audience jumped up and started singing the lyrics! It was a movie-like moment as Adair and Kenny laughed their way down the aisle together!
FUN FILLED RECEPTION
One thing I loved about the reception was that Adair’s dad actually helped to create many of the backdrops, like the boxwood wall that was behind the dessert table. With the help of their wedding coordinator, The Posh Affair, all of the details were picture perfect! Their cake was a cookie cake made by Whisk Bakery, and they had the cutest cookie sandwiches to go with it! When they cut the cake later in the evening, they did it with an “axe” as a nod to Sam Houston State University.
After cutting the cake, Adair did a quick change and came back in a fun Jovani party dress! She did an upbeat dance with Kenny that wowed the crowd, and then Drywater Band opened up the dancefloor. As the night went on, the bride and groom were up on stage with the band, and it looked like they were having the time of their lives! During a band break, Kenny stepped in to be the guest DJ, and everyone loved seeing him in his element!
At the end of the night, Adair and Kenny ran through sparklers to their vintage getaway car. Y’all- what a night!! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Stover!!
