The Bell Tower on 34th Wedding | Gabby + Michael

POLISH WEDDING CEREMONY

Gabby and Michael were married last weekend, and it was such a joy being a part of their celebration! I still remember meeting Gabby and her mom for the first time many months ago. We talked all about the exciting wedding day details, but most importantly, we talked about Gabby and Michael’s desire to incorporate their Polish heritage into their big day. Then, Gabby told me the most amazing story about how how she met Michael. Her mom actually set them up because she knew Michael from her Polish dance group. Needless to say, it was extra special photographing Gabby and Michael’s ceremony at Our Lady of Częstochowa, the Polish church that brought them together!

Gabby and Michael’s wedding was filled with personal touches, and one thing that wowed me was that their talented ceremony musicians, a Polish folk band called Tekla Klebetnica! They welcomed guests into the church with their music, and then they performed beautifully during the ceremony as well. The church itself has stunning architecture, and I loved that it was still decorated for Christmas. It gave the ceremony a warm and welcoming feel!

Their reception took place at The Bell Tower on 34th, and I had the honor of photographing Gabby’s bridal portraits there a few weeks before the wedding. After that, I was eagerly awaiting the start of the new year so I could take more portraits at the the stunning reception space- this time with the new Mr. and Mrs. Ostrowski!!

BELL TOWER ON 34TH WEDDING

After the ceremony, we headed over to cocktail hour at The Bell Tower to take portraits of the newlyweds. Gabby put on a beautiful white fur coat, and we ventured around the venue until the sun set. (Then later in the evening, we snuck them out to the courtyard to take some nighttime photos with the iconic waterwall!)

The reception was beautifully decorated with floral arrangements from The Senterpiece and plenty of candle light. Guests enjoyed live music by the Royal Dukes Band, and Gabby and Michael were dancing all evening! There were also a few southern traditions that took place such as a cake pull and a second line grand exit. (My new favorite exit idea ever!) The next day, the party continued with a traditional Polish reception which was SO much fun! Photos coming soon!

Congratulations again, Gabby and Michael! We loved capturing your wedding day and are so excited for y’all to start your journey as husband and wife in Alaska!
