Springs Cypress Wedding | Rachel + Dom

Rachel and Dom are officially the new Mr. and Mrs. Airola!! We have loved getting to know Rachel and Dom throughout their wedding journey and even had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session in Aspen, CO, last year! Rachel and Dom are such a sweet and adventurous couple, and they adore their corgi Thumper who made a special appearance on their wedding day! There were so many special details that Rachel and Dom incorporated into their big day, including custom signage and calligraphy details done by her twin sister, Brooke! We had the best time capturing all of the perfect details as well as the candid moments throughout the day.

Their wedding day started with the girls hanging out in matching robes in the bridal suite as Sunkissed and Made Up did their hair and makeup. Meanwhile, the guys were relaxing in the groom’s suite and Googling how to fold the perfect pocket squares- haha! When it was time to get dressed, Rachel’s mom helped her into her perfect wedding gown. She looked absolutely stunning, and some of the bridesmaids shed some happy tears when they saw her for the first time in her dress! Then, Rachel shared a First Look with her dad outside on the venue steps. It was such a special moment to witness as her dad happily embraced her with the biggest smile on his face!

Shortly afterwards, we guided Rachel to the back of the venue where Dom was eagerly waiting to see her for the first time that day. They shared a sweet First Look together before bringing out their pup, Thumper, for some photos in his puppy tuxedo! Afterwards, we took wedding party portraits in the beautiful wooded area of the venue before heading to the church.

PRINCE OF PEACE CEREMONY

The ceremony took place at Prince of Peace Church which is a beautiful, intimate chapel with stained glass windows. The ceremony was focused on the true sacrament of marriage, and everyone cheered as Rachel and Dom were announced as husband and wife! After the ceremony, we headed back to Springs Cypress for a fun reception. Before making the Grand Entrance, we took sunset photos in front of the venue which are some of my absolute favorites!

After Mr. and Mrs. Airola were announced into the reception, guests enjoyed a wonderful evening with dinner, lively music, an ice cream bar, and even a late night Whataburger snack! Later in the evening, Rachel and Dom’s siblings toasted to the happy couple and had everyone simultaneously laughing and crying. Once the party got started, the dance floor was packed all night long until the sparkler Grand Exit. Mr. and Mrs. Airola, it was such a joy being a part of your wedding day! We wish you all of the love and happiness (and adventure!) in the world as you continue your journey as husband and wife!
