Abby and Adam were married at the beautiful McGovern Centennial Gardens in October, and it was an incredible day from beginning to end. They started the morning getting ready down the street at Hotel Zaza, an iconic hotel in the Houston Museum District. Abby was surrounded by the best group of bridesmaids as she got dressed in her perfect gown and did a fun dress reveal. She also shared a heartfelt First Look with her dad before we made our way over to the ceremony site.

It was the perfect sunny day for an outdoor ceremony at the Celebration Garden located within McGovern Centennial Gardens. Blue and white flowers filled the ceremony site, and petals lined the aisle. It was a meaningful ceremony that emphasized the true importance of marriage, and a stunning flower arch made the perfect backdrop for Abby and Adam to say their vows. Everyone cheered as they walked back down the aisle hand-in-hand as Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins!

Outdoor Houston Wedding Reception

We took bride and groom photos right before sunset and captured the most amazing golden hour glow in their portraits. It was a photographer’s dream! Shortly afterwards, the newlyweds made their way into the reception for a delicious dinner surrounded by all of their friends and family. As the evening continued, guests found themselves laughing and crying as they heard toasts from the Father of the Bride, Maid of Honor, and Best Man. Then, the party moved outside where a checkered blue and white dance floor awaited! The open air reception and outdoor bar created the perfect fall garden vibes. Guests danced the night away to their favorite music and were surprised with a live drum performance by the groom himself! To end the fun filled night, guests tossed petals as Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins made their way to their getaway car.
