Kirby emailed me back in 2016, so to say I’ve been excited for her wedding day to arrive is an understatement!! Kirby and Michael were married at The Springs Event Venue in Angleton, and the entire day was a dream!

I think my jaw dropped when I walked into the venue. Kirby had told me her wedding was English garden inspired, and she truly brought her vision to life with gorgeous florals galore! The reception space featured tall floral centerpieces, and the ceremony had rose petals scattered down the aisle. Kirby is one of the most organized brides I’ve ever worked with, and it makes our job SO incredibly fun and easy! She had the most perfect details from invitations to vow books!

To start the day, Kirby and Michael shared a First Look outside on the porch, and it was the sweetest moment! I loved seeing Michael’s reaction to seeing his beautiful bride for the first time. Spoiler alert: he cried! (I’ve been keeping Kirby’s bridal portraits a secret for quite some time, and holy moly, she looks so stunning in her dress!!) I loved that we had ample time to take portraits throughout the day- it was a dream! Kirby and Michael are so much fun to photograph, and I could hardly narrow down my favorite images of them!

ENGLISH GARDEN INSPIRED WEDDING CEREMONY

The ceremony took place outside under a beautifully decorated gazebo, and friends and family gathered on the lawn to watch Kirby and Michael say “I do!” Their handwritten personal vows were just the sweetest! When they were announced as husband and wife, they couldn’t stop smiling all the way back down the aisle!

The reception took place inside the ballroom, and with the help of Weddings and Events by Sarah, every detail was set to perfection. One of my favorite features of the ballroom is the grand staircase which was the perfect backdrop for the wedding toasts!

Kirby and Michael, it’s been such an honor being a part of your wedding journey. Congratulations on the start of a beautiful marriage, and we wish you all the best as Mr. and Mrs. Swartz!!
