IRON MANOR WEDDING
Karoline and Evan are officially Mr. and Mrs. Hakes! They were married at Iron Manor, a new industrial chic wedding venue in Montgomery, Texas. It was the perfect place for Karoline’s wedding vision to come to life! It was such a dreamy day down to every last detail that was planned out with the help of Love Birds Vintage. Piney Rose Floral went above and beyond with the abundant floral arrangements, and I still can’t get over the stunning sweetheart table and cake display!
At the beginning of the day, Karoline and her girls got their hair and makeup done by Elm Beauty in the luxurious bridal suite. They sipped on mimosas in their matching robes until it was time for Karoline to slip into her gown. At Karoline’s engagement session, she told me that her style inspiration was Jackie Kennedy. I think my jaw-dropped when I saw Karoline’s classic gown for the first time because it seemed like THE perfect dress for her! Once Karoline was dressed, she shared a First Look with her dad, and it was such a heartfelt moment. Father-daughter moments get me every time! Then, we drew back the curtain in the bridal suite so Karoline’s bridesmaids could see her all dolled up for the first time that day. (Cue the happy squeals!)
Then, we went outside to the courtyard where Karoline and Evan exchanged letters without seeing each other. Their letters were so sweet, and you could just tell how truly excited they were to see each other at the altar soon!
INDUSTRIAL CHIC CEREMONY
After some fun bridal party portraits in the garden, it was time for the ceremony! It was fun listening to the guests’ reactions as they entered the chapel space for the first time; everyone was so amazed by the grand architecture! String music played in the background as Karoline’s dad walked her through the main doors and down the aisle. The ceremony was beautiful, and Karoline and Evan couldn’t stop smiling when they were announced as husband and wife. They even stopped at the end of the aisle for one last kiss as everyone cheered!
We took bride and groom portraits in front of the venue, and I absolutely adore all of the sweet images we captured of Karoline and Evan! They are such naturals in front of the camera, and we couldn’t have asked for a prettier backdrop than the fountain in the garden at sunset. Soon after, the newlyweds made their Grand Entrance into the reception where they shared their first dance in front of their friends and family. The rest of the night featured an energetic dance floor (thanks to J&A Entertainment!), soft pretzels as a midnight snack, and even a “guest DJ appearance” by the bride and groom!
Mr. and Mrs. Hakes, your wedding day was an absolute fairytale, and we were so honored to capture your love for each other! Wishing you all the love and happiness in the world!
