future party of four

I was so excited when Christina asked me to photograph her maternity photos for her and Colin! I love getting the chance to document different seasons of life from engagements to weddings to maternity photos! Christina is a kindergartener teacher, and soon she will have two sweet little ones of her own! I had so much fun hearing about the names that Christina and Colin chose for their twins as well as the meanings behind them. I will leave that a secret for Christina to share, though!

On the day of their maternity session, our original location was flooded due to the recent rains. (Fun fact- most parks are built to retain excess amounts of water so they surrounding areas don’t flood!) We chose George Bush Park as our backup location, and I couldn’t be happier with it! The sunset was absolutely gorgeous coming in behind the trees. In some of the images, I joked that Christina was already glowing, but now she is REALLY glowing. (Dorky, I know!)

The next time I see Christina and Colin, they will be a party of four. I’m so excited to see what’s in store for this sweet family!
