office on the water for a day

I work from home which means I don’t see the light of day sometimes! It’s nice being able to work from the comfort of my own home, but sometimes I like moving my office for a day! On the day of Leslie’s consultation, I got to drive out to Conroe and sip on Starbucks by the water. Leslie met me after work, and we got to chatting about her upcoming wedding at Olde Dobbin Station. I loved my wedding venue, but I told Leslie I have major venue envy of hers, too!

I loved hanging out with Leslie and hearing her vision for her wedding. When we talked about engagement photos, she mentioned that she wanted to include her son, Henry, in a few photos. On the day of her session, I told her how excited I was that Henry was coming later! I told her that a wedding is not just a joining of two people, but a joining of families. And how special is it that they have a family of their own! Even their dog, Skyy, came along to be a part of the fun. I LOVE that we got to capture a complete family photo for Leslie and Justin! I’m pretty sure they are going to have the cutest Save-the-Dates ever!

I loved being a family photographer for a day, and I can’t wait to capture Leslie and Justin’s wedding day next September! (Henry is going to be the ring bearer- so stinkin’ cute!!)
