wind swept bridal session

I am SO in love with Cassidy’s bridal session! Not only is Cassidy a stunning bride, but she is also such a joy to work with! I had been looking forward to Cassidy’s bridal session for a while because I hadn’t seen her or Stephen since last SUMMER when we took their engagement photos. We changed her bridal session location at the last second due to flooding, but she was more than willing to go with the flow. The location ended up being perfect with a sunlit glow, and I couldn’t have asked for a better spot!

The day of her session was a windy one, but it made her dress look even more gorgeous! I mentioned this in one of my last bridal session posts, but I actually prefer wind for bridal sessions. Wind is fun to work with, especially when the bride is wearing a veil. The wind creates more candid moments that look more natural than photos where we have to “throw the veil.” Cassidy didn’t let the wind phase her, and she embraced her windblown hair and veil with grace!
