Grand Texana Wedding | Kaylee + Stephen

Kaylee and Stephen were married at the Grand Texana last weekend, and it was a beautiful, joy-filled wedding day! The Grand Texana is a white barn venue located in Hempstead, TX, and it has the perfect mix of vintage and southern flare! We took Kaylee’s bridal portraits at Grand Texana a few weeks before the wedding, and I couldn’t wait to be back again. The property itself is gorgeous, and it only gets more beautiful around sunset! Pair that with a fun bridal party, and you can really create some magic!

The day started with the bridesmaids hanging out at the bride’s cottage, and then Kaylee and Stephen shared a private moment together on either side of the barn. I loved seeing their excitement as they held hands and chatted without seeing each other just yet. When it was time to move Kaylee back to the bridal cottage, Stephen asked something along the lines of, “Do I have to let go?” It melted my heart!!

TEXAS FALL WEDDING

The ceremony took place in the chapel, and it was extra special because Kaylee’s uncle was the officiant. During the ceremony, Kaylee and Stephen tied a unity rope that has been in Kaylee’s family for three generations. Throughout the day, it became evident that Kaylee and Stephen both have a heart for meaningful details that made their day unique to them!

After the ceremony, we had the perfect sunset lighting for portraits. Kaylee and Stephen are so sweet together, and it was such a joy documenting their first moments as husband and wife! Once at the reception, guests ate dinner in the barn, and then went outside to watch Kaylee and Stephen share their First Dance under the covered patio. Guests stayed outside enjoying the weather, entertainment, and photo booth until the end of the night.

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Chambers! I hope you are still on Cloud Nine as you continue your journey as husband and wife!!
