Beckendorff Farms Wedding | Megan + Josh

Megan and Josh were married at Beckendorff Farms in Katy, Texas, and we were so honored to be a part of their much anticipated wedding day! We’ve been lucky enough to photograph several weddings at Beckendorff Farms this year, and the beauty of the venue never fails to amaze us. The barn itself has a simple, rustic elegance that paired beautifully with Megan’s dusty blue color palette. Megan has a great eye for details, and it was evident in the way her suede shoes perfectly matched the bridesmaids dresses and her choice of florals beautifully brought together the ceremony and reception spaces. It was a dream wedding day!

At the beginning of the day, the girls were poppin’ champagne in the bridal suite (literally!), and I knew from that point that it was going to be such a fun wedding day! The girls were laughing all morning, and there were so many sweet moments to capture before the ceremony. Megan read a letter from Josh that made her laugh out loud and brought tears to her eyes. Shortly after, they shared the sweetest First Look. They were both overcome with emotions during the First Look, and their excitement to get married was palpable!

Beckendorff Farms has a lot of great spots for photos, including the road leading up to the venue that has a gorgeous arch of trees. We ventured all around the venue taking fun bridal party photos before it was finally time for Megan and Josh to get ready for the ceremony. When the back barn door opened and Megan started walking down the aisle, everyone’s jaws dropped. She was absolutely glowing as she made her way down the aisle to meet Josh. The ceremony ended with an enthusiastic “Mazel Tov!”

One of my favorite parts of the day was taking sunset photos of Megan and Josh. We got to stroll around by the lake until the sun had set, and we captured their first official photos as husband and wife! Once the reception was underway, they entered through the big barn doors, and then it was time to get the party started! The crowd on the dancefloor was one of the best we have seen in a while, and the energy was contagious! The dance floor was packed all night until the sparkler exit took place outside.

Mr. and Mrs. Caster, it was a joy getting to know you two throughout your wedding journey and capturing precious memories of your wedding day. We wish you all the best as you start this new journey together!
