This fall, I wanted to do something a little different. Within a matter of weeks, I officially designed my first Fall/Winter Style Guide for Kati Hewitt Couples. This means that I got to work with three amazing couples, dream up outfit inspiration, and tag team with Kelcie from Garnished Event. (She styled the ADORABLE s’mores set up and provided the fall mugs!) I posted a model call, created style boards on Pinterest, and then got to work! I started by scouting the perfect location for a “golden glow fall background.” I was so excited when my first couple, Mary and Jake, arrived at the park! Mary brought what I like to call a “closet in her car” so that we could create the perfect outfits. This is where the story gets crazy! We were picking out outfits from her car when the tree RIGHT NEXT TO our cars fell over. Out of nowhere! Luckily, it missed our cars and provided a super unique backdrop for their photos. Haha!

Truth be told, this was a completely spontaneous idea! I looked at my calendar and was ecstatic that I had over 10 engagement sessions coming up between the end of October through November. I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to add value to my couples by creating a guide that would help them nail their engagement session outfits. Fall style is all about rich colors, layers, and textures. My style guide addresses all of these trends while also sharing unique fall color palettes. I thought back to the outfit-planning process for my own engagement session, and I shared how I created complementary outfits.

I’m so excited for all of my 2017 brides to have a copy of this guide! At this time, the 80+ page Fall/Winter Style Guide is exclusively for KH Brides.
