FARMHOUSE WEDDING DAY
Shannon and Tim’s wedding celebration took place at The Farmhouse in Montgomery, TX, last weekend. These newlyweds were smiling and laughing together all day, and we loved capturing their joy! Their winter wedding day was filled with beautiful florals and burgundy accents. The ceremony space featured a large flower arch, and the reception tables looked stunning with custom place cards and luscious greenery. There were so many special details incorporated into their big day, like the fine-art inspired seating chart and colorful dinner goblets. The day was not only incredibly beautiful, but also so much fun to be a part!
The morning of their wedding was relaxing and fun with the girls getting their hair and makeup done by Adorne Artistry, and the guys playing cards in the groom’s suite. When it was time to get dressed, Shannon’s mom and sister helped her put on her perfect gown and veil. Then, Shannon shared an emotional First Look with her dad in the bridal suite which was so sweet to witness! Shannon also did a bridesmaids reveal with her girls, and everyone was ooh-ing and aah-ing over how incredible Shannon looked in her dress!
Afterwards, we headed over to the chapel where Tim was eagerly waiting to see his bride for the first time that day. They silently read letters from each other before turning around and sharing a First Look! Shannon and Tim had officially tied the knot the previous year when the current climate wasn’t conducive for a big wedding. That meant that Shannon kept her dress a secret from Tim for almost two years, so this moment was extra special to capture!
WINTER WEDDING RECEPTION
We had the opportunity to take some fun bridal portraits in the chapel and outside around the venue leading up to the ceremony. Before too long, it was time for Shannon and Tim to say “I do” in front of all of their family and friends! During the ceremony, guests enjoyed hearing about Shannon and Tim’s relationship, including a mix of heartfelt and hilarious moments. I loved how the officiant, Marry Me Brandon, led guests down memory lane so everyone could feel fully immersed in the couple’s love story. Shannon and Tim shared many laughs together during the ceremony, and they were all smiles when they were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Stephens!
After the ceremony, we took the most beautiful sunset bride and groom photos around the property. It was a photographer’s dream! When the sun started going down, it was time for the Grand Entrance into the reception. Shannon and Tim had such a fun wedding party, and they had everyone cracking up by spraying “hundred dollar bills” during the entrance and strumming inflatable guitars. It was the perfect build up for the introduction of the new Mr. and Mrs. Stephens! As the night went one, guests enjoyed a candlelit meal, special toasts, and a delicious dessert selection. When the dance floor opened up, J&A Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all night as guests waved light-up props and listened to their favorite tunes. To end the perfect night, Shannon and Tim ran through a sea of sparklers to their vintage getaway car!
Mr. and Mrs. Stephens, we loved being a part of your wedding memories! We wish you all of the love and happiness in the world as you continue this exciting chapter as husband and wife!
