HOUSTON WEDDING CELEBRATION

Melissa and Julian are officially married! Their wedding ceremony took place at the beautiful St. John Vianney Catholic Church, and their reception was held at The Bell Tower on 34th. It’s easy to see how much Melissa and Julian love each other, and their joy was contagious throughout the entire day!

The day started off at The Moran with the wedding party getting ready in separate suites. The girls got their hair and makeup done while wearing matching robes and sipping mimosas while the guys hung out drinks in hand.

Melissa had the most beautiful bridal details, from her custom invitation suite to her Mrs. Cerana purse to her garden inspired bouquet. After Melissa got dressed, she shared a special First Look with her dad who tried his best to hold back tears! Then, Melissa’s bridesmaids came in to see her in her dress for the first time, and their jaws dropped when they saw her! Melissa truly looked like a princess in her perfect gown! Shortly after, we loaded the shuttle and headed to the church for the ceremony.

ST. JOHN VIANNEY CATHOLIC CEREMONY

St. John Vianney Catholic Church features stunning architecture on the inside and outside, including some archways that we utilized for portraits after the ceremony! One thing we loved about Melissa and Julian’s wedding day was how family oriented it was. There were so many special moments shared with their parents throughout the day. Julian walked down the aisle with his mom and his dad, and Melissa did the same. It was so sweet seeing both of Melissa’s parents beaming with pride as they walked alongside her. Julian was overwhelmed with emotion at the end of the aisle as he saw Melissa walking towards him!

The ceremony was filled with peaceful hymns and prayers, and the couple chose to incorporate a few cultural wedding traditions, like el lazo. Everyone cheered as Mr. and Mrs. Cerana were announced as husband and wife! We took bride and groom portraits outside of the church, and it was so much fun capturing Melissa and Julian’s newlywed joy! Then, we headed to The Bell Tower on 34th for cocktail hour and the reception.

THE BELL TOWER ON 34TH RECEPTION

During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a live mariachi band as well as delicious appetizers and signature drinks. Before joining their guests inside the ballroom, Melissa and Julian ate a private meal in the courtyard where they were serenaded by the mariachi band! The ballroom was filled with beautiful candlelight and featured a grand staircase dripping in flowers. It made for the perfect grand entrance for the bride and groom! Melissa and Julian wowed everyone with their incredible choreographed first dance to kick off the reception!

As the night went on, guests enjoyed a fun photo booth, a lively dance floor, and even a late night Whataburger snack! To end a perfect night, Mr. and Mrs. Cerana ran through a sea of confetti to their Rolls Royce getaway car. Talk about a night to remember!
