ANNUNCIATION CATHOLIC CHURCH

Caroline and Thomas’ wedding took place in May with a meaningful ceremony at Annunciation Catholic Church and an outdoor reception at McGovern Centennial Gardens. It was a beautiful celebration from beginning to end, and it was an honor capturing it all!

The day started with Caroline and her friends getting ready at her mom’s house, and everyone enjoyed a morning filled with mimosas and even a surprise piñata! Caroline put on her stunning gown with two sweet pups running around by her feet, and then we all headed to the church.

Annunciation Catholic Church has a rich history in Houston, and it is recognized as a historic landmark in Texas. Caroline wore a beautiful blusher and was escorted down the aisle by her father. The ceremony focused on the true sacrament of marriage, and everyone joined together in prayer. As a nod to their heritage, one of their family members played the bagpipes as guests exited the church!

MCGOVERN CENTENNIAL GARDENS RECEPTION

Afterwards, we headed to McGovern Centennial Gardens where colorful flowers were in bloom and an outdoor cocktail hour welcomed guests. It was the perfect, sunny day for an open air reception. Caroline and Thomas shared their First Dance under twinkling lights, and then guests enjoyed dining outside as they watched the sun set. To kick off the party, Caroline surprised everyone with an incredible reception outfit to dance the night away in. And of course, the celebration wouldn’t be complete without a champagne tower, King cake, and late night chocolate chip cookies.
