ST. PAUL’S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH WEDDING

Becky and Trey are officially Rev. and Mrs. Burns! They were married in February at the gorgeous St. Paul’s United Methodist Church where Trey is a pastor. I loved hearing the story about how Trey proposed to Becky in Scotland with a stunning emerald ring. Their winter wedding emphasized that part of their love story by showcasing navy and green decor and nodding to their Scottish roots with tartan accents.

St. Paul’s United Methodist Church is iconic to downtown Houston, and it features breathtaking architecture on the inside and outside. The peaceful courtyard was the perfect place for Becky and Trey to share a first look at the beginning of the day. It was also fun seeing the bridesmaids’ reactions to Becky in her perfect gown and watching the sweetest flower girl help fluff her veil. After we took wedding party portraits outside of the church, it was time for the ceremony!

COHEN HOUSE RECEPTION

Becky’s entrance into the ceremony was incredibly special; the full choir sang as she made her way down the aisle to her groom. The ceremony served as a beautiful reminder of the true sacrament of marriage! After a few sunset photos outside of the church after the ceremony, we headed over to the reception at Cohen House located at Rice University.

Guests were greeted by a candlelit reception space with delicious appetizers and festive beverages. It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter during the cake cutting and mingling outside underneath the beautifully lit oak tree. To send off the newlyweds in style, guests blew bubbles and cheered as Becky and Trey made their grand exit!

Congratulations again, Rev. & Mrs. Burns! It was an honor capturing your wedding day and being a part of the beginning of this new chapter for y’all!
