WEDDING AT SPRINGS EVENTS IN THE WOODLANDS

Leah and Kenny were married at the Springs Events Venue in the Woodlands, and it was an amazing celebration! When I first met Leah over coffee many months ago, something that really stood out to me was how her eyes lit up when she talked about her wedding and her future husband! Leah had the same amount of joy on her wedding day, and I knew she wouldn’t let a little bit of rain “rain on her parade.” I was exactly right as I watched her and her bridesmaids sing along to Disney music in the morning and pray together right before the ceremony. It didn’t matter what the weather was like; Leah and Kenny were getting married!

One of my favorite parts of the morning was when Leah read a letter that Kenny gave her prior to the ceremony. The note from her sweet groom-to-be brought tears to her eyes. After that, it was only a matter of minutes until they would see each other up at the altar! Leah looked like a princess in her three-piece gown from BHLDN, and I couldn’t wait for Kenny to see her for the first time!

THE SWEETEST RAINY DAY

The Springs Event Venues has a wraparound porch on both sides of the venue, so it was the perfect spot for rainy day portraits! We were still able to use natural light without asking the bridal party to walk around in the wet grass! We always come prepared with cute bubble umbrellas (the ones you see on Pinterest!), and some of my favorite portraits from the day are the ones where Kenny is holding the umbrella for Leah. Ahh, the photos of them are SO romantic!

Friends and family surrounded Leah and Kenny at their reception, and I think it’s safe to say there was a mix of a lot of laughter and a few tears throughout the night. They are such a kind-hearted, grateful couple, and I loved hearing their friends and family toast about how they are the perfect match for each other! At the end of the night, Leah and Kenny made their grand exit through a SEA of bubbles. (Bubble guns for the win!!) It was the perfect end to their sweet winter wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Guion, it was an absolute joy photographing these special memories for you, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for y’all as you begin your journey as husband and wife!
