Nikki and Jason, let me start by saying I cannot BELIEVE our time together is over. I’ve had such an incredible time working with the two of you during your surprise proposal, engagement photos, and now your wedding. Y’all are a joy to be around, and I love the way you love each other!

For those of you who don’t know the story, I was hired by Jason to be a hidden photographer during his proposal to Nikki at A&M’s famous Century Tree. The rain held up just long enough for Jason to pull off the perfect proposal. Even after Nikki and Jason moved away from College Station, they came back in town for their engagement photos (and a football game!).  Their wedding at River Road Chateau was my first Dallas wedding, and now my bags are packed for any others that may come my way.

Nikki and Jason’s French-inspired venue was absolutely gorgeous- complete with teal shutters, high-hanging chandeliers, and the perfect meadow to say “I Do.” When I first arrived, I spotted a greenhouse covered in vines, and I knew I had to take some photos there. Nikki and Jason wanted to share a moment with each other before the wedding, but they didn’t want to see each other just yet. We went out to the greenhouse where they shed a few (okay, a lot) of tears and exchanged gifts. This was one of the most moving moments I have been a part of as a photographer. The love between Nikki and Jason was so evident…you’ll have to see the photos for yourself!

I am so glad I was able to roadtrip to Dallas for Nikki and Jason’s wedding, and I can’t wait to see what the married life has in store for this sweet couple!

These photos make me want to tear up, too! I am so glad we decided to shoot in this greenhouse- it was too pretty to pass up! NIKKI! You are gorgeous! When the first hug is just as adorable as the first kiss. And when your wife surprise you with the Aggie War Hymn as you walk down the aisle! Ahh, there is pure joy in this photo!! Everyone thought Nikki was going to smash cake in his face; she is so sweet! Mr. and Mrs. Devout, everyone!
