OLDE DOBBIN STATION WEDDING
It was such an honor being a part of Jossie and Jacob’s wedding day! Their wedding took place at Olde Dobbin Station in Montgomery, TX, and it was a beautiful day filled with jewel tones, creative details, and of course, lots of laughter! I first met Jossie when we were kids and our brothers played sports together. We also went to the same high school, so needless to say, I was so excited when she contacted me to capture her big day!
A few months ago, I had the privilege of capturing Jossie and Jacob’s engagement photos. I had so much fun hanging out with them and seeing how much they make each other smile. Based on our interactions together, I knew their wedding day was going to be a joyful one! On the day of their wedding, Jossie and her girls got their hair and makeup done in the bridal cottage by Etoilly Artistry. Jossie looked so stunning with a hairstyle that complemented her beautiful, natural curls. Meanwhile, Jacob was putting on his maroon suspenders and black tie in the groom’s suite. Shortly afterwards, Jossie and Jacob shared a private moment together where they exchanged letters and gifts. We found a secluded corner for them to share a moment and talk about how excited they were to see each other at the altar.
The ceremony took place indoors underneath a gorgeous arch decorated by F. Dellit Designs. Strands of lights hung over head, and a string quartet played softly in the corner. Jossie’s dad and his quartet even sang a special song before Jossie made her grand entrance. It was such a sweet ceremony for the new Mr. and Mrs. Hill! After Jossie and Jacob exited the ceremony, Jossie said “Hill yeah!!” Haha! We utilized the gorgeous golden glow outside for bride and groom sunset photos before entering the reception.
FALL WEDDING RECEPTION
The reception space was absolutely stunning! A photobooth set up in the corner sported vintage furniture and props, and there were plenty of desserts for guests to enjoy including cake balls and cookies. The tables were adorned with greenery and candlesticks, and the head table had a jaw-dropping floral display with hanging lights. I should have known all of the details would be perfect since Laced with Grace was in charge of planning and coordinating!
Jossie and Jacob entered the reception and went straight into their first dance. Then, everyone enjoyed dinner while Kingsland Vocal Group sang in the background. Later in the evening, Jossie and her dad shared a special dance that had everyone cracking up at the end- you’ll have to keep scrolling to see the photos! DJ Dave kept everyone dancing all night until it was time for the Hills to make their grand sparkler exit.
Congratulations again to the new Mr. and Mrs. Hill! We hope your future is filled with many more moments of laughter and times that make you say “Hill yeah!!”
