Olde Dobbin Station Wedding | Bryn + Emanuel

Bryn and Emanuel were married at Olde Dobbin Station, a stunning wedding venue located in Montgomery, Texas. The day started out with rain and a tornado watch, but the moment Bryn arrived, the sun came out! I told Bryn that she brought the sunshine with her, and from that point on, there was nothing but great weather! It was an intimate wedding day shared with 60 of Bryn and Emanuel’s closest friends and family, and it was an honor to be a part of!

We started the day photographing all of the details and decor in the reception space, and I was in awe at all of the gorgeous flowers from Bramble & Bee. Flowers lined the dinner tables (which were set up for a seated dinner!), the welcome table, and the cake table. Bryn is a talented baker, and she actually made her own wedding cake! Everything about Bryn and Emanuel’s wedding day had a personal touch, and some of my favorite details were the calligraphed place cards and the personal charcuterie boards at each seat. All of the details were perfectly thought out and executed by the talented team at Love Birds Vintage.

MONTGOMERY WEDDING RECEPTION

When it was time for the ceremony to begin, a string trio played in background as guests took their seats. Moments later, Bryn and her father walked down the aisle where Emanuel saw his bride for the first time. They laughed and cried their way through personal vows, and then they were announced as the new Mr. and Mrs. Pires!

Once at the reception, guests enjoyed a seated dinner before listening to a series of hilarious and heartfelt toasts. I loved the intimate feeling of the reception as everyone interacted at dinner and then filled the dancefloor. DJ Dave entertained guests throughout the night, and let me tell you, this crowd knew how to dance! At the end of the night, Bryn and Emanuel braved the wind and made their exit as guests waved sparklers. (Sparks were flying- literally!)
