McGovern Centennial Garden Bridal Session | Ana

MCGOVERN CENTENNIAL GARDENS

Ana told me she was really in love with the train of her dress, and after I saw it, I understood why! Her bridal session was an absolute dream, and it made me SO excited for her upcoming wedding! With the help of her mom and brother, we were able to take extra care of the lace on her dress so it would still be picture perfect on her wedding day. I always encourage brides to bring along a trusted family member or friend because it really does take a village when it comes to dress fluffing, etc! I’m pretty sure Ana looked like a princess when we were walking around McGovern Centennial Gardens because there were three of us holding her dress and fanning her off. (If anyone is interested, my new favorite gadget is this $5 iPhone fan!!) It was a pretty hot day in Houston, but Ana didn’t let it phase her at all.

The McGovern Centennial Gardens is located inside of Hermann Park, and it’s a short walk away from the Museum of Natural Science. I can’t believe my first time visiting it was during Ana’s bridal session! After all, I did grow up going to the Museum of Natural Science when I was a kid. Houston never fails to surprise me! There aren’t many places in the middle of Houston that have a great sunset, but the gardens didn’t disappoint! I’m hoping I’ll get to go back in the spring and see everything in full bloom. (Any takers? 😉 )

Ana and Trevor got married in Baton Rouge, LA, last September, and you can see their wedding day highlights on the blog HERE!
