Lindsay Lakes Wedding | Taylor + Chad

Taylor and Chad’s wedding took place at Lindsay Lakes in Cypress, Texas. It’s hard to believe it’s been seven months since I took Taylor and Chad’s engagement photos. The last time we were together in October, they were wearing fall clothing, and temperatures were finally starting to drop! Flash forward to last weekend, and it was a beautiful sunny day despite the inevitable Texas heat! The bridesmaids were wearing light blue dresses and carrying blush and white bouquets while the guys sported gray suits and navy ties It was the perfect color palette for the spring, but of course, Taylor’s wedding dress stole the show. Her dress had the most stunning intricate details, a long train, and an even longer veil! I always say long veils are perfect for windy days, and luckily there was a nice breeze when we were taking portraits before the ceremony!

Taylor and Chad shared a First Look before the ceremony, and it was so sweet seeing them tear up and embrace each other during that moment. (A lot of happy tears were shed that day!) I always love First Looks because it calms the couple’s nerves and gives them the chance to spend more time together on their wedding day! Seeing each other before the wedding didn’t stop Taylor from beaming as she walked down the aisle to meet her groom at the altar just moments later.

ROYAL WEDDING DAY

After the ceremony concluded, we had the BEST sunset glow for bride and groom portraits. Lindsay Lakes has a beautiful chapel and courtyard, so it was a photographer’s dream! And when Taylor said she wanted to take some “under the veil” photos, I couldn’t contain my excitement. I’m such a sucker for veil photos!

Once it was time to get the party started, the bridal party was announced into the reception. Since Taylor and Chad’s wedding took place the same day as the Royal Wedding, everyone in the bridal party entered while doing a “royal wave.” Haha! DJ Brothers kept the dance floor packed all night until Taylor and Chad made their sparkler Grand Exit!
