Lindsay Lakes Wedding

Sadie and Austin tied the knot at Lindsay Lakes in Cypress, Texas, and it was a magical day! All of the details from the day were perfectly thought out from the blush and marsala accents to the custom wooden signage. There were matching table numbers, menus, and a seating chart which I love! (I was all about the stationary on my own wedding day, too!) The bridesmaids wore long blush-colored dresses while the groomsmen sported black tuxedos. It was one classy bridal party!!

There are a lot of moments from Sadie and Austin’s ceremony that stand out to me. I remember Austin holding back tears as Sadie walked down the aisle, and I’m pretty sure there was not a dry eye in the room! (The officiant even made a joke about how Austin “ugly-cried.” Haha!) One of my favorite photos from the day is Sadie’s dad handing her off to her new groom. (You’ll have to scroll down to see!) The ceremony started with all of the guests singing a hymn together, and I loved hearing more about the couple’s sweet story and how they endured long distance together.

At the reception, Sadie and Austin played the “shoe game” which is where they sit back-to-back and answer a series of questions about their relationship. They have to choose the answer to each question by holding up either the groom’s shoe or the bride’s shoe. I honestly wish more of my couples would play this game because it’s hilarious watching them answer the questions and hearing the crowd’s reactions!

Before the dance floor opened, we heard toasts from Sadie’s sisters and Austin’s best man. Then, Austin and his mom surprised everyone with a choreographed dance! The dance floor was packed all night before Sadie and Austin exited the reception with a sparkler Grand Exit.

Sadie and Austin, thank you for letting me document this special day! I loved celebrating the beginning of your marriage with you!
