HUGHES MANOR WEDDING
Miranda and Connor got married at Hughes Manor in Houston, TX, last weekend. Hughes Manor is a new wedding venue in Houston, and they are known for their industrial chic vibe. Leading up to Miranda’s wedding day, I actually had the chance to visit Hughes Manor on several occasions, so I was incredibly excited to finally be able to photograph a wedding day at this beautiful venue! Alex and I both went to high school with Miranda and Connor, and they have been together for as long as we can remember! When you ask Miranda, she will tell you that they’ve actually been dating since JUNIOR HIGH! Needless to say, there was a lot of excitement leading up to their wedding day, and it was fun being able to see some familiar faces in the wedding party and in the crowd!
Miranda was a bridesmaid in two weddings I photographed in 2017 (one of them was Connor’s brother’s wedding!), so I was so excited for it to be Miranda’s turn to marry the man of her dreams! Kelly Kennedy Events helped make Miranda’s vision come to life on the day of her wedding, and all of the decor looked gorgeous with pops of navy and gold. The bridesmaids and house party wore dusty pink and maroon dresses, and they sported colorful florals adorned with maroon ribbons. Miranda’s hair and makeup was done by Hey Lovely Makeup, and she wore a stunning gown from Brickhouse Bridal. The style of the entire wedding was absolute perfection!
SUNSET CEREMONY
Miranda and Connor shared a First Look before the wedding, so we were able to take all of the bridal party photos prior to the ceremony. With 30 people in their bridal party, it was easy to see that Miranda and Connor are loved by many! Their ceremony started right at sunset, and I love how you can see the golden glow of the stage and the twilight sky in the background. I loved the look on their faces when they were officially announced Mr. and Mrs. Connor Cella!
Once at the reception, there was a chocolate fountain, a live event painter, AND a band! It was one big party all the way up until Miranda and Connor made their Grand Exit. Guests waved them goodbye with sparklers, and they drove off in a vintage Rolls Royce!
Miranda and Connor, it was such an honor being a part of your dream wedding day. Wishing you all the happiness in the world as you start this new journey as Mr. and Mrs. Cella!!
How stunning is Miranda’s bouquet! Miranda’s MRS box was a gift from Connor! He loved his cufflinks that showed off their cats! Love how sweet they are together!! Love this fun bridal party photo! Connor with his friends from Rice University! The Cella brothers. Here comes the bride! THEY’RE MARRIED!! Time to get the party started! Miranda adding the finishing touch to their wedding painting.
Thank you to all of the vendors who made this day so special!
