House Estate Wedding | Anna + Robby

HOUSE ESTATE WEDDING

Anna and Robby, the cutest high school sweethearts, are officially Mr. and Mrs. Wells!! They were married at House Estate, a gorgeous venue located in Hockley, Texas. It’s a Victorian mansion from the 1890’s with a glass-walled ceremony and reception space. Everything about it is stunning from the vintage furniture in the getting ready rooms to the spacious porch that was perfect for portraits!

One thing that really stood out to me throughout Anna and Robby’s wedding day was that they both had the biggest smiles on their faces all day long! Anna was beaming when her mom and sister zipped up her dress, and Robby was relaxed and laughing with his groomsmen during their portraits. Right before the ceremony, Anna and Robby shared a quiet moment together where they exchanged letters, and it was such a special time for them as they talked about how excited they were and held back tears as they silently read their letters. It would only be a few minutes more until Robby saw his gorgeous bride walking down the aisle!

KATY WEDDING CEREMONY AND RECEPTION

After Anna and Robby were announced as husband and wife, you could tell they were on Cloud Nine! They were laughing and smiling at their friends and family the whole way out of the ceremony! When we started taking bridal party portraits on the porch, I saw so many familiar faces! (I swear some of the groomsmen have been photographed by me at least 3 times now!)

When it was time to take photos of just the newlyweds, we had the perfect golden glow from the sun that was starting to set behind the venue. Anna and Robby swore they weren’t naturals in front of the cameras, but I think I called their bluff- haha! It was so much fun capturing their newlywed joy as we finished up their sunset portraits. They even let me sneak them out of the reception for 5 minutes of nighttime photos, and we got some incredible shots in the gazebo! (Keep scrolling to see!)

For their first dance, Anna’s sister, Amy, sang a special song for them. It was so sweet watching them dance and twirl as Amy sang in the background. Then, Anna’s mom toasted the bride and groom and had all of the guests laughing as she told the story about meeting Robby for the first time. After her speech, she surprised Anna with a special mother-daughter dance, and it melted my heart!!

Throughout the night, guests packed the dancefloor and enjoyed the cute popcorn bar that was set up by the cake table. Guests danced with glowsticks all night before lining up with sparklers for Anna and Robby’s grand exit!

Mr. and Mrs. Wells, it was such an honor capturing your fun filled wedding day! Wishing you all the best as you start this new journey as husband and wife!
