HIDDEN CREEK WEDDING

Ashley and Cole were married at Hidden Creek, a gorgeous venue located in Heath, TX. It seems like forever ago that we took their engagement photos at McKinney Falls last year, so we were excited to be reunited for the day! Alex and I loved making the trip up to Heath (which is right outside of Dallas), and we were surprised with the most beautiful spring weather!

When we arrived at the bridal suite, the girls were sipping champagne in matching robes as the guys were laughing and having a good time next door. I’m pretty sure I spent most of the morning gushing over Ashley’s stunning bouquet and contemplating whether or not I should steal her perfect Badgley Mischka shoes (just kidding!).

CUE THE HAPPY TEARS

Once the countdown to the ceremony began, Ashley and Cole shared a private moment so they could exchange letters and pray before the ceremony. It was the sweetest moment as they held back tears and held hands from either side of a partition that separated them from seeing each other. Minutes later, Ashley was walking down the aisle with her mom, and Cole was overwhelmed with emotions up at the altar.

After a heartfelt ceremony, we had the chance to take Ashley and Cole across the street on a little field trip to a wide open field. When the groom is as excited about golden hour as you are, you know magic is about to happen! We walked around the field soaking up all of the sunset lighting we could get before heading into the reception.

Ashley and Cole are both Aggies (and Alex was actually a Fish Camp counselor with Ashley), so we knew the reception was going to be a good time! They played the Aggie War Hymn and passed out custom 12th Man Towels as guests lined up for the Grand Exit. Ashley and Cole shared the sweetest private last dance, and I was tearing up behind my camera at all of the happy tears on the dancefloor!!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Zamboanga! May your lives be filled with all of the happiness in the world and plenty of Aggie football games! 🙂
