pastel winter wedding
Halsey and Jon’s wedding took place at Grace Bible Church. The church is gorgeous with high ceilings, multiple chandeliers, and natural lighting (score!!). The church was decorated for the holidays which made their winter wedding even more perfect! Halsey and Jon had the sweetest ceremony. Jon was beaming as his bride walked down the aisle, and I got emotional as everyone sang “In Christ Alone.” (I took a wide shot of the church during the song, and you can even see the lyrics on the monitors.) What a beautiful memory and incredible way for Halsey and Jon to start their journey as husband and wife!
a dancehall reception with southern flare
One thing I loved about Halsey and Jon’s wedding was that guests were able to enjoy both a heartfelt ceremony and a light-hearted, fun reception at Firehouse Saloon. The dance hall had tons of hanging lights that set the mood on the dance floor and was decked out with southern accents! I loved the gorgeous uplighting in the reception that made it a photographer’s dream to photograph! One of my favorite parts of the afternoon was capturing the toasts. There was a mix of tears and laughter, and I loved getting to hear about how incredible Halsey and Jon are together. (And let’s face it, I already knew from their engagement session that they were a perfect match for each other!)
At the end of the reception, guests tossed rose petals as Halsey and Jon made their way to the getaway car. There is pure JOY on Halsey and Jon’s faces which made the exit images some of my favorites from their wedding day! I’m so glad I was able to witness such a beautiful day!
