FREDERICKSBURG SUMMER WEDDING

It has been so much fun being a part of Katie and Otto’s wedding journey! Throughout our time together, I had the opportunity to photograph their engagement photos, Katie’s bridal photos, and their special day all in Fredericksburg. When I first met Katie and Otto at their engagement session, they showed me all of their favorite places around town including a restaurant and winery. I loved how they personalized their engagement photos by sipping on wine and playing with their dog, Ollie. I knew they would approach their wedding day in a similar way, and I was right!

Katie and Otto said their vows at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, and as guests entered the chapel, they were welcomed by no other than Katie and Otto’s dog! After a beautiful ceremony, the Mother of the Bride surprised them with a special getaway car belonging to their grandfather.

THE VENUE AT RAFTER E RANCH

The reception showcased Katie and Otto’s rustic vision for their wedding day with an elaborate dessert display that included a tackle box, cake pop “bobbers”, and a “Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses” sign. They even had photos on display of Katie and Otto fishing together. It was adorable! Guests were each given mini cowbells to take home, and Katie slipped into her cowboy boots right before the reception started. I loved all of the sweet southern details down to the iced tea and lemonade available for guests!

Fredericksburg is such a scenic place, and Alex and I had a field day taking portraits at the reception venue, Rafter E Ranch. It’s a brand new venue nestled in the hill country with a gorgeous view and even prettier sunset. I didn’t want to put my camera down when we were wrapping up bride and groom portraits. Katie and Otto are just too cute together, and the lighting was absolutely perfect!

After a fun filled night with a Grand March, hilarious toasts, and of course some two stepping, Katie and Otto made their Grand Exit through a sea of sparklers. Mr. and Mrs. Segner, congratulations on officially becoming husband and wife!

Pretty in pink! The girls got ready in the cutest Air BNB! How cute is this flower girl moment!? Ollie was the best greeter! St. Anthony’s is a GORGEOUS church! THEY’RE MARRIED!! Surprise getaway car for the newlyweds. The beautiful bride! Love these mix and match bridesmaids dresses! When your groom sweeps you off your feet… Time for the Grand March!
