Five Oaks Farm Wedding

Lauren and Robbie were married at Five Oaks Farm last weekend, and it was the sweetest southern wedding day! Five Oaks Farm is located in Cleburne (which is in the Dallas area), so it was another road trip for me and Alex! The venue is an all-white barn with a stunning bridal suite loft and a designated groomsmen cabin. The reception area is spacious, and there were so many special touches scattered throughout from decorated barrels to a dessert table decked out with pies! It’s always exciting to photograph at new venues, and we were especially excited about going to Five Oaks Farm after we saw it listed as one of the top barn venues in the country!

Lauren and Robbie are both Aggies, and I remember meeting them at a coffee shop in Houston when they were on spring break last year. Fast forward exactly a year later, and they got married right around spring break of this year! We took their engagement photos on campus at Texas A&M, so when Lauren wore her Aggie boots on her wedding day, it felt like everything was coming around full circle!

FROM RAIN TO RAINBOW

One thing I loved about Lauren and Robbie’s wedding day was that they didn’t let the weather “rain on their parade.” The bridesmaids rocked their photos while holding umbrellas so that we could take photos by the giant oak on the property. Even when the ceremony was moved inside, all that mattered was that Lauren and Robbie were getting married! After a sweet, intimate ceremony, Lauren and Robbie were beaming as they walked back down the aisle as husband and wife. A few minutes later when we went outside for family portraits, a rainbow appeared in the sky!

It was an evening filled with heartfelt toasts, country music, and even the Aggie War Hymn. Guests tossed bird seed as they bid farewell to the newlyweds at the end of the night. Lauren and Robbie, it has been such an honor playing a small role in your wedding journey. Wishing you all of the happiness in the world as you embark on this new adventure together!
