Christ the Redeemer Catholic Wedding

Lisa and Robby got married at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church last Saturday. It was a gorgeous day filled with the first glimpse of fall weather in Texas and beautiful pastel blooms by Petal Society. The wedding was styled by Kelcie from Garnished Event, and her team did an incredible job decking out the reception hall and making sure the day ran smoothly!

Lisa and Robby shared a First Look so they could see each other before the ceremony. The look on both of their faces when they saw each other was genuinely JOYFUL! I loved getting to capture that special moment for them right before they became husband and wife.

Christ the Redeemer is one of my favorite churches to photograph because the inside is grand with natural lighting. Pair that with the beauty and sanctity of a Catholic ceremony, and you have a winning combination! After mass, I got to sneak away with Lisa and Robby for bride and groom portraits. They showed me the cutest garden area tucked away in the back of the church, and it made the best backdrop for portraits!

Shortly after entering the reception, all of the guests participated in a traditional Grand March- a Czech tradition! I love photographing Grand Marches because everyone gets involved, and they are very upbeat! Guests marched around the reception hall before finally encircling Lisa and Robby on the dancefloor. In that moment, there was no doubt that the room was filled with people who loved the newlyweds!
