A Broken Arrow Ranch Wedding Filled with Sunflowers

Sydney and I were on the dance team together way back in high school, so I was beyond excited when she asked me to be her wedding photographer! Sydney and Mason tied the knot at Broken Arrow Ranch in College Station, TX. The venue is new to College Station but has quickly become one of my favorite places. A few weeks before the wedding, I photographed Sydney’s bridal portraits at the ranch and was amazed at how beautiful the property was. The sunset there is PERFECT for photos. Needless to say, I eagerly awaited the chance to return for the wedding!

Sydney and Mason are my second Aggie couple who met on the dancefloor at Harry’s- a popular country western dance hall in College Station. Whoop! Staying true to their roots, Sydney and Mason had a rustic wedding filled with sunflowers, cowboy boots, and a live country band.

Special Moments

The entire day was perfect, but a few moments really stood out to me. First, Sydney and Mason shared the sweetest First Look before the wedding. I think my heart melted when I saw the way he looked at her in her dress! Second, Sydney and Mason wowed all of their guests (and me!) with their two-stepping skills during their first dance. Lastly, their grand exit was a lavender toss. I remember thinking how cute it was that the lavender matched the wedding colors. Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Meek! Thank you for letting me play a part in your Broken Arrow Ranch wedding. I wish you the best as you begin your journey as husband and wife!

Look at the way he is looking at her- melts my heart! I think purple and sunflowers is my new favorite combo! Fun fact: Sydney and Mason met at Harry’s, and they are REALLY good at two-stepping! Lavender toss- the perfect way to end the night.
