ATLANTA WEDDING DAY

Zahra and David were married last weekend at The Venue at Murphy Lane in Atlanta, Georgia. Zahra is a dear childhood friend of mine, and it was an absolute honor documenting her incredible wedding day! Alex and I spent the weekend near Atlanta, and we had the pleasure of photographing the rehearsal dinner on Friday, too. The rehearsal dinner took place at the same venue, so we enjoyed meeting their friends and family and scoping out all of the best photo spots for the next day!

The weather was absolutely gorgeous on Saturday, and it truly felt like the perfect fall day! After the girls finished their hair and makeup, they popped champagne to celebrate the amazing day ahead. Zahra looked absolutely stunning in her perfect gown, and she was radiating joy the entire day! All of the girls literally dropped their jaws when they saw her in her dress for the first time that day! Zahra also shared a private moment with David, and they were both overcome with emotion as they read their vows aloud. Moments later, David got to see his beautiful bride for the first time that day…cue all of the happy tears! Then, we took wedding party portraits until it was time to line up for the ceremony.

THE VENUE AT MURPHY LANE

When it was time for the ceremony, guests sipped on hot cider and filled out the interactive games on Zahra and David’s creative programs. The outdoor ceremony featured flower arrangements down the aisle and a beautiful wooden cross. The sun was shining as Zahra walked down the aisle with her dad, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the crowd! Zahra and David exchanged rings and lit a unity candle before being announced as the new Mr. and Mrs. Hugel!

After the ceremony, we took golden hour portraits all around the venue and soaked up the last bit of sunshine that day. Then, it was time to get the party started! Guests enjoyed authentic Persian food from Rumi’s Kitchen and a mix of music throughout the evening, including traditional Persian music! Zahra and David sure know how to throw an amazing party…and it turns out the guests knew how to sweep people off their feet as well. You’ll have to keep scrolling to see exactly what I mean- haha!!

Mr. and Mrs. Hugel, it was so special being a part of your wedding memories and witnessing your love for one another! We’re so happy you found each other, and we hope to come visit y’all in Atlanta in the near future!!
