Omaha Nebraska Wedding | Bridget + Taylor

OMAHA NEBRASKA WEDDING

Bridget and Taylor were married at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Omaha, Nebraska, and their reception took place at Founders One Nine. Taylor is my step brother, and we have loved getting to know him and Bridget over the last few years! Needless to say, this was an extra special wedding for us to photograph! I took their engagement photos last May and have been counting down the days until their wedding ever since.

On the day of their wedding, Bridget spent the morning getting her hair and makeup done with her bridesmaids and, of course, her adorable pup named Bo. Their getting ready room was a spacious suite with lots of natural light pouring in from the windows. One of my favorite parts of the morning was right after Bridget put her dress on upstairs. She walked down the staircase for her bridesmaids to see her for the first time, and Bo met her at the bottom!

After a private letter exchange, Bridget and Taylor were ready to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. Their First Look took place in the courtyard of the Magnolia Hotel, and it was the sweetest moment as Taylor saw his beautiful bride for the first time. (Bridget swears he never cries, but now I beg to differ- haha!) To make the joyful moment even more special, Bo made a special debut for pictures! I loved capturing them all together as a family because I know how much they all love being together. (I remember when Bridget and Taylor first told me they were getting a mini golden doodle, and my jaw dropped. I think they are THE cutest dogs!)

FOUNDERS ONE NINE WEDDING RECEPTION

We arrived in Omaha the day before the wedding, and we spent some time location scouting at the nearby park where some of the wedding portraits would be taken. We found the most stunning trees with white flowers at Memorial Park, and we just knew we had to utilize those the next day. We were beyond excited when it was time to go back to the park for portraits before the ceremony. It was the most gorgeous day, and I loved the way the bridesmaids’ blush BHLDN dresses photographed next to the groomsmen’s navy suits. After portraits, we made our way to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church where Bridget and Taylor officially became Mr. and Mrs. Haney. The church is special to them because it’s in the same neighborhood where they live, and Bridget has been attending church there since she was younger. After they were announced as husband and wife, Taylor and Bridget threw their hands up in excitement and smiled all the way down the aisle.

After the ceremony, we boarded Ollie the Trolley and made one more stop at a nearby historic building that is now a high school. The architecture and cascading steps are a photographer’s dream! The bridal party popped champagne to celebrate the newlyweds, and then we headed to Founders One Nine for the reception. Something Blu entertained guests all night with their live music and crazy dance moves (trust me- you have to see the photos!). It was a lively evening filled with great food, special toasts, and lots of dancing.

Mr. and Mrs. Haney, we loved playing such a special part in your wedding day! We are so excited for you both and can’t wait for y’all to visit us in Houston soon! 🙂
