Olde Dobbin Station Wedding | Leslie + Justin

olde dobbin station wedding

Leslie and Justin’s wedding day was nothing short of amazing! Despite a hurricane the week before, everything came together flawlessly to make the perfect day for Mr. and Mrs. Gillispie! The wedding took place at Olde Dobbin Station located in Montgomery, Texas. The venue was built in the 1900’s and was recently renovated to include a new chapel space. One thing I love above the venue is that it’s covered in vines. All of the greenery meshed perfectly with the abundance of colorful florals created by Handfelt Provisions. There were coral and peach flowers everywhere you looked from the reception centerpieces to the ceremony arch!

I took Leslie and Justin’s engagement photos last fall, so it’s crazy to think almost a year has gone by since the last time I saw them! They are such a sweet couple and amazing parents to their son, Henry, who played the role of ring bearer during the ceremony! Not only are Leslie and Justin fun to be around, but so was their bridal party! Alex and I went to college with one of the bridesmaids, Jeslyn, and one of the groomsmen, Sam. I love when worlds collide! (And it means we keep good company!)

After a ceremony with handwritten vows and a few tears, guests enjoyed dinner and toasts inside the main building. My favorite part of the reception was when Leslie and Justin got REALLY into the cake-cutting. And by that, I mean they both CAKED each other in the face! To me, that was a testament to how they wanted their wedding day to be a carefree and memorable day!

Mr. and Mrs. Gillispie, it’s been such an honor being your wedding photographer! Thank you for letting me play a part in your big day!
