Magnolia Bells Wedding | Lauren + Jake

MAGNOLIA BELLS WEDDING

Lauren and Jake’s May wedding took place at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and Magnolia Bells, and it was such a joy to be a part of! Magnolia Bells is a gorgeous venue, and we spent the afternoon taking portraits on site before heading to the church where Lauren and Jake said “I do!” I love that the venue has special meaning to Lauren and Jake. Jake actually proposed in front of the venue’s chapel, knowing that that would make the venue have an even MORE special meaning to them! It was only fitting that Lauren and Jake shared their First Look right in front of the chapel steps. It was the sweetest moment, and happy tears were shed as they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day.

I also can’t say enough about Lauren and Jake’s fun bridal party! It was evident that Lauren and Jake were surrounded by their closest friends on their wedding day, and it shows in the photos! We found the perfect wooded spot to take photos before the bridal party headed to the church for the ceremony. One thing I can’t get over is how beautiful the bridal party’s flowers looked. They were created by F. Dellit Designs, and they perfectly accented the bridesmaids’ gorgeous navy dresses. I loved the pops of color and the large accent flowers!

ONE MORE SONG!

The ceremony took place at St. Mary’s, and I don’t think there was a dry eye in the room when Jake saw his bride walking down the aisle. On top of a meaningful Catholic ceremony, there was also a live event painter painting the scene as Lauren and Jake stood up at the altar. I didn’t have a chance to see the finished product, but I can only imagine what an amazing keepsake that will be for them!

Once the reception started, Lauren and Jake made their Grand Entrance- champagne in hand! They shared their First Dance, and when the dance floor was officially open to the guests, they were joined by the Royal Dukes Band! The dance floor was packed all night, and guests were surprised with glowsticks as the night went on. One thing I’ll never forget is that the guests urged the band to play an encore before the Grand Exit of the bride and groom. Their wish was granted, and it was such a fun way to end the night!

Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Wood! I’m so happy I could witness the start of your journey as husband and wife, and I wish you all the happiness in the world!
