JENNINGS TRACE WEDDING

Danielle and Mason were married at Jennings Trace in Montgomery, TX, and it was the most joyful wedding day! I hadn’t met Danielle until we connected for her wedding, but it turns out we know ALL the same people from different stages of life from childhood to high school to college. Needless to say, Danielle keeps great company, and it was such an honor capturing her wedding day! Not only was it a beautiful day filled with incredible flowers and decor (thanks to Wed and Prosper and Monica’s Touch of Glitz Flowers!), but it was also filled with love and laughter. I instantly noticed that Danielle and Mason are both very family oriented and cherish their friends. We were so impressed by how kind the bridal party was, and we were just as impressed by their dance moves later the night- haha!

At the beginning of the day, Danielle shared a First Look with her dad, and he surprised her with a special necklace to wear that day. Danielle’s mom and two sisters watched the moment unfold as they stood hand-in-hand and tried to hold back tears. That’s when I knew it would be the sweetest day!

 

MONTGOMERY WEDDING RECEPTION

Sure enough, we saw even more happy tears at the ceremony! When Danielle walked down the aisle with her dad, Mason was overwhelmed with emotions at the sight of his beautiful bride. They were married underneath a wooden cross draped with flowers, and the architecture of the chapel was the most stunning backdrop for them to say “I do!” After the ceremony, we had fun taking portraits around the property before Danielle and Mason made their grand entrance into the reception.

One of my favorite parts of the reception was the toasts! Members of the bridal party and the Father of the Bride toasted the newlyweds, and they had guests laughing out loud the entire time. I still remember the Father of the Bride retelling the story of when he first met Mason. Apparently Mason had him convinced that he had rehearsed in the car because he did so well! I also loved hearing about Danielle and Mason’s relationship and how the stars somehow aligned for a Texas girl to fall in love with a California boy at A&M. After a night filled with dancing and glowsticks, Danielle and Mason shared a private last dance to “My California” (so cute!!) as guests waited for them outside. They waved custom 12th Man Towels (whoop!) as Danielle and Mason made their way to the convertible getaway car!

Mr. and Mrs. Flannery, it was such a joy photographing your wedding day and getting to know you both. Wishing you all of the love, happiness, and corny jokes in the world! (Turns out Danielle loves corny jokes just as much as I do- haha!)
