Jennings Trace Wedding | Allison + Hunter

Allison and Hunter were recently married at Jennings Trace, a new wedding venue in Montgomery, Texas. The venue’s modern architecture is absolutely stunning, and the venue’s goal was to design spaces that could “bring all the beauty of the outside to the inside.” After seeing the venue’s chapel and reception pavilion that are lined with large windows, I can officially say that this venue is a natural light photographer’s dream! Allison and Hunter chose to pair lush florals from The Farmer and I with the venue’s modern design. I loved the pops of color in Allison’s bridal bouquet and floral centerpieces. Hunter even hand crafted the wooden arch that they got married under. I am still so in awe of all of the details!

The day started with Allison and her girls hanging out in the bridal suite and preparing her for the most fun and special day! Allison’s bridesmaids had the best reactions when they saw her in her wedding dress for the first time. (Keep scrolling to see!) When it was almost time for Allison to go see her groom, she took a moment to silently read the vows he had written for her. Tears were shed, and it made the anticipation for their First Look that much sweeter!

I’m so glad Allison and Hunter chose to share a First Look before the ceremony because it meant they got to spend extra time together on their wedding day. It was so much fun witnessing the joy on both of their faces when they saw each other all dressed up. We had the privilege of capturing that joy on camera throughout the entire day, and I think it’s safe to say that Allison and Hunter are one of the happiest couples ever!

You could tell just how loved Allison and Hunter are by the amount of guests that filled the chapel. The chapel was buzzing with excitement before the ceremony began, and candles lined the aisle making the space feel welcoming and intimate. After a moving ceremony, the newlyweds were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Warrick, and they walked back down the aisle with the biggest smiles on their faces. One of my favorite images was taken when Allison and Hunter thew their arms up when they exited the chapel. So cute!!

After some sunset portraits, Allison and Hunter made their grand entrance into the reception. They danced to The Avett Brothers which is one of their favorite bands. (Ours too!!) As the night went one, Allison and Hunter had a ton of surprises up their sleeves! Guests were given glowsticks and light-up cowboy hats on the dancefloor, and they danced and sang karaoke all night. Allison and Hunter changed into the coolest reception shoes ever- light up sneakers!- and performed an awesome karaoke duet. Then, Whataburger honey butter chicken biscuits were brought in as a late night snack, and one with candles was given to Hunter as an early birthday surprise. (His birthday was the very next day!)

Mr. and Mrs. Warrick, thank you for letting us celebrate your incredible wedding day with you! It was such a joy capturing the sweetest memories for y’all, and we hope you are still on Cloud Nine since becoming husband and wife!
